Kokee State Park and Kalalau Lookout
Adjoining Waimea Canyon State Park, Kokee State Park offers hiking and camping in pristine Hawaiian rain forests where you can observe indigenous plants and birds. Often shrouded in clouds and mist, the park features a lodge and restaurant and breathtaking views, weather permitting, from Kalalau Lookout, which overlooks Kalalau Valley, on Kauai's North Shore, from a height of 4,000 feet.
