Buzz's Wharf (Maalaea Harbor Detail Map, J-1 or Map 2, Inset C, D-15) (244-5426), A landmark harbor-view restaurant located in Maalaea Bay, famous for its “Freight Train” surfing wave and whale-watching. Buzz's is known for its house specialty, Markea Prawns Tahitian, as well as great American cuisine with an Island flavor, featuring teriyaki steak, freshly caught fish, other Island specialties and seafood. Café O'Lei at The Dunes (Map 1, E-8) (877-0073). Located at The Dunes Golf Course, Kahului. Café O'Lei features seafood towers, Kula rancher Bill Eby's premium beef burgers, lilikoi roast duckling, ragout of Cajun shrimp and white beans. It overlooks the golf course and is just 10 minutes from the airport.
Carl's Jr. (Maalaea Harbor Detail Map, H-1) (249-0787) is the place for big, juicy, char-broiled burgers and chicken sandwiches. Stop by for a western bacon cheeseburger any time. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Conveniently located just off Honoapiilani Highway at Maalaea Harbor.
The Bakery (Lahaina Map, B-3) (667-9062). Located at 991D Limahana Place, Lahaina. This European bakery features fresh-boiled bagels, fresh croissants and pastries, a full-service deli, hot lunches, artisan breads and specialty cakes. Open Monday through Saturday.
Baskin-Robbins is located in Lahaina Gateway Shopping Center, at 305 Keawa St. (Lahaina Map, C-2). Ice cream lovers will find 31 flavors of the finest ice cream delights, including shakes and sundaes.
Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. (Lahaina Map, D-6) (661-3111). Located at 889 Front St. Shrimp, shrimp and more shrimp—along with barbecued baby back ribs, salads and sandwiches, as well as memorabilia from the movie Forrest Gump.
Hard Rock Café (Lahaina Map, D-5) (667-7400) 900 Front St., Lahaina. Enjoy the ultimate rock 'n' roll dining experience, featuring great food, cool merchandise and legendary memorabilia. Merchandise hours are 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The bar closes at midnight.

Warren & Annabelle's Magic Show (Map 2, C-11 or Lahaina Map, D-5) (667-MAGIC). “If you only see one show on Maui, this is it!” says Maui Revealed guidebook. Warren Gibson, highly acclaimed showman and one of the country's premier sleight-of-hand magicians, treats you to his incredible style of close-up magic, sense of humor and Southern hospitality in this beautiful, $1.2 million venue. Your evening begins as you discover the secret passage into Annabelle's Parlor. There, Annabelle, the resident ghost at the piano, takes your requests and entertains you prior to the show. Gourmet appetizers, desserts and cocktails are available for purchase in the parlor as a package or à la carte. Then, you're invited into the luxurious theater, where you will laugh and be truly amazed as Warren performs a two-hour, interactive show. Show sells out nightly. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Kauiki Restaurant at the Hotel Hana Maui (Map 6, B-14 or Map 7, A-10) (248-8211 or reservations at 800-321-HANA) offers a tantalizing blend of Pacific Island and regional cuisine with a fresh innovative flair. The menu features fresh fish from the hawaiian waters and produce grown locally or on the island of Maui. The majestic views look toward Hana Bay. Reservations are recommended for dinner. For cocktails and dinner, ladies are welcome in long or short dresses, skirts or slacks. Aloha shirts, collared and suitable shirts (no tank-tops), slacks or dress shorts, are the norm for gentlemen.
