The Long and Winding Road to Hana
continued

Hana is considered one of the "last Hawaiian places," so there’s no glitter and glam once you reach your destination. The attraction of Hana is its laid-back peace and quiet: a beautiful bay surrounded by lush hillsides, families leading quiet lives, horses and cows going about their business as they have for years. Enjoy a picnic lunch (or early dinner), poke your head into the famous Hasegawa General Store and learn more about the area’s unique history at the Hana Cultural Center and Museum. Don’t forget to check your gas gauge. Remember: It’s all about the journey.
